Just a heads up, for anyone with a credit card.  I just got subjected to some credit card fraud, they must have got the information from some business that I used my card at. Probably stole their card machine and its stored info.  I'm not going to be out any money, but,  it sure turned out to be an inconvenience.  And I try very hard to be careful with my card, and shit still happens. Watch out everyone.

I had a similair incident last spring.  I was on a business trip In Quecbec and two days after I got back there where some interesting charges on my card.  No skin off my back though. I  just filled out a few forms and all was fine with the bank.... just imagine this time the bank was a good guy for a change.

Now all my credit cards have the chip and pin embedded in them so that fear is really going away.

It happened to me this past Tuesday.... Somewhere my Debit card was cloned and someone purchased $300 of clothes from The Gap.... My bank emailed me. I got it on my phone immediately and had my account frozen.  The person or persons tried again 2 more times at the Ambercrombie n Bitch....  Come on now... You know I don't shop at places like this.  The Money has since been returned to my bank account and I have a new card coming out next week...

Wow, this kind of shit is all over the place! I'm going to be issued a new card with the "Chip" which I hope will help.  I try to buy everything with cash when I can, but obviously shit still happens. I'm glad that none of us got really screwed on this. But what a pain in the ass!

This subject is hitting a raw nurve just last Saturday went for ride with my Bro and stopped in a local gas stop for a few JD shooters for the ride. Left my wallet on the counter and went on the ride and about thirty min. noticed I forgot it at gas stop and went right back and she was gone. I quickly called the bank to shut my cards down and it was already to late.
It was only about forty min. and the rate they were going they could'nt spend it fast enough.  We love are plastic but it can be bitch. I just hope thats all that comes with this and I have no suprises.

Jr - its ok to admit you shop at the GAP  Grin

On a serious note I had someone even hack into my checking account and they took all my cash. When I reported it they found out it was hacked by someone in Japan. I got my cash back but the bank could not do anything about the incident.
