So here they are folks, the 10 year anniversary patches. After some consideration/consultation with Fonda, these are the finished product. I hope you are as stoked on them as I am.
Reason I went with the coffin design:
When I first started hanging around this club the patch that really caught my eye was the Coffin patch. I was told what meaning it held, about the hash marks you recieved when you did something for the club, and that very few original members had them before Fonda stopped making them. I always loved that patch, and was always a little bummed because I knew I would never get one. So I figured what a better fitting tribue to the club on this historic day than a re-make of that very patch for the anniversary?
Ten hash marks for ten years,
The year we started.
The phrase that pretty much sums up the club. (Fonda had the final edit on it, I originally had it as "Upsettin' the biz for a decade". I like his better)
And of course, the boozehead eyes.
They are 4" high and 2" wide.
They have a iron on backing.
They are going to cost $5 a peice at the party.
There are 50 of them, if we run out, I can have more made.
